Adam Hewson stunned future bride Harriet Scott by popping the question in the most romantic way imaginable – with a flashmob choir!
Adam wanted to make sure his proposal would be memorable, so arranged for a flashmob to take over The Church Restaurant on Friday evening – and the resulting footage is quite spectacular!
To the sound of Christina Perri’s love song ‘A Thousand Years’, the proposal unfolds as a growing flashmob of friends and family part to reveal Adam’s entrance and the big question. After recovering from the shock, Harriet said yes... to huge cheers, a round of applause and lots of dabbing of eyes!
Harriet’s sisters Polly and Lucy contacted The Church to set plans in place and Alexandra Harding - General Manager of The Church – was absolutely delighted to share in their special moment. ‘Naturally, it was an absolute pleasure to be a part of, they are a lovely couple and they have a fabulous family, it was really heart-warming to see so many of them singing for one couple, when he got down on one knee....I cried!’
‘I wish them many happy years together and hope to see them all again soon.....perhaps even for a wedding’.
